Mindfulness is switching off your auto-pilot and being more aware of our own thoughts and feelings, then also the World around us and other people. 
It is something you practice rather than being able to do instinctively.
Mindfulness is proven to be effective in reducing the effects of stress, anxiety and depression while increasing memory, focus, concentration and happiness. 
Mindfulness is looking at our life situation and approaching potential difficulties in a different way, rather than ignoring, hiding or simply trying to stick a positive spin on things.
It is seeing things clearly without the filters of past experience or concerns about the future.
I have really enjoyed the Mind Gym sessions that Christine runs. Its a well thought out and succinctly delivered programme of 30 minute sessions which gives you the space to think and practice techniques that can be readily applied to everyday life. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone who is interested in developing a more "mindful" headspace to help with the demands of work and their personal life.

As a slight sceptic of mindfulness, I set up the taster sessions with Christine for our business hoping that I would learn something (albeit still with reservations!). After just one session I started to see how "clearing the head" could assist in my day to day life. The 6 week programme that Christine provided different exercises to enable to individuals to find a way that worked for them.
